Timothy Dayton….a friend of the Elmsford Fire Dept. passes away

Timothy Dayton, 39, a former professional truck driver passed away on June 15, 2026, after a long, courageous battle with ALS.  During part of this long battle, Tim lived in the Elmsford Fire Department response area.  As his condition worsened, occasionally his family would call the department for assistance with lifting and moving him.  During this time, we developed a relationship with Tim and his family.  Throughout this terrible ordeal, Tim and his family were pillars of strength.  May he rest in peace.  May God Bless his family is their time of grief.
