MVA rollover w/injuries & entrapment: Route 287 W/B @ Exit 2
At 1724 hours, E137 and L55 were dispatched to the call location, along with Elmsford EMS, for a motor vehicle accident (rollover) with injuries and entrapment.
Upon arrival, Chief Signor confirmed the above information.
White Plains and Fairview FDs had already been dispatched for the same incident, but at a different location, further east on the highway.
Chief Signor had those units, along with Elmsford FD units, continue into the scene. Together, the three departments worked together to extricate the patient and turn him over to Elmsford EMS, who transported him to Westchester Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Good job done by all!!!!
Our thanks to all agencies involved in the incident!!!
