Engine 137, Ladder 55 and Car 2111 were dispatched, with Elmsford Police, to investigate an odor in a storm drain in the vicinity of the Getty Station, 128 East Main St.

Upon arrival it was quickly determined that the odor was gasoline.

Booms and pads were deployed to stop the flow of the product, which eventually stopped.

County Haz Mat, Village Water, Highway and Building Depts were notified and responded.

The investigation was subsequently turned over to the County Health Dept for follow-up.

All units returned to service.
