Firefighter I Graduation was conducted last night at the Department of Emergency Services.
The Elmsford Fire Department had five graduates from a variety of recent classess; and as the instructors stated, ranged from extremely cold weather to extremely hot weather.
A real testimony to the recruits' commitment to training.
Our graduates were Tim Fanelli, Earl Nash, Jorge Portillo, Lenny Scaperotta and Anjuli Singh.
Best wishes to them and as Commissioner Cullen indicated, don't stop here, continue with your training, take as many classes as possible. This profession is always changing and there are always new challenges to meet.
