Engine 137, Ambulance 58B-1 and Car 2111 were dispatched to the vicinity of 555 Taxter Road for a serious motor vehicle accident, rollover, with reported entrapment, a broken utility pole and downed primary power lines.
Upon arrival, personnel located the accident in the Irvington Fire District, further south of the above address.
They verified that the scene was safe, in spite of the downed wires, and extricated the seriously injured motorist, with the assistance of the Irvington Fire Department.
The patient was transported ALS to Westchester Medical Center by 58B-1 for treatment of his injuries.
